Vincent Lim M.D.

Dr. Lim's educational background includes Post Graduate Year IV/Fellowship in Psychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in Bronx, New York; Post Graduate Year II/III in Adult Psychiatry, University of Medicine and Dentistry NY Medical School, Newark, NJ; and Post Graduate Year I in Internal Medicine, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens, New York. After graduating from the University of Santo Tomas medical school in Manila, Philippines, he practiced internal medicine in his home country and later migrated to the US where he pursued his medical career, specializing in psychiatry. He worked as Attending Psychiatrist at the Catholic Community Services (Mount Carmel Guild) Behavioral Health Partial Hospital MICA Day Program Care System (Newark, NJ), where he was in charge of psychiatric evaluations and medication management of dually diagnosed psychiatric patients, working with a team of case managers, social workers, substance abuse counselors and nurses. He also worked as Attending Psychiatrist at the Hackensack Universeity Hospital, Hackensack, NJ, in charge of psychiatric evaluations and medication management and treatment in the adult outpatient and partial hospitalization program. Later on he worked as Physician Specialist at the University Behavioral Health Care of the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medial School in Newark, NJ. Currently he is also the Medical Director of the Occupational Center of Union County, Roselle, NJ. At CJBH, Dr. Lim treats adult psychiatric patients, including those with acute as well as chronic axis I/II psychiatric diorders with comorbid axis III conditions, develpmental disorders, providing them with his expertise in psychopharmacology and psychosocial therapies. He has been practicing psychiatry for over fifteen years.
