My philosophy and approach to working with clients is to focus on the strengths and assets they bring to therapy. The emphasis is on the individual's growth and ability, to move forward in a constructive manner. My goal is to connect with the individual and to work together to develop their innate potential for negotiating life's challenges. I utilize an integrative approach based upon person-centered therapy, focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Areas of interest include mood disorders, life-transitions, multicultural issues, grief and bereavement.
