GISELA CIAMPI graduated from Kean College (NJ) with a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 1981. She completed her masteral education in social work at Rutgers University (NJ) in 1986. She has vast experience in psychotherapy treatment and counseling of individuals, couples and families. Her practice focus is in PTSD, adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, family and other relationship conflicts, grief, and sexual identity. Her professional experience includes: Psychiatric Social Worker/Coordinator at East Orange General Hospital, Outpatient Mental Health Center; Research Assistant at Rutgers University Center for Training in Child Welfare and Law; Graduate Social Work Intern at the Catholic Charities Outpatient Mental Health Center; Mental Health Clinician and subsequently, as Supervising Mental Health Clinician at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Outpatient Mental Health-Addiction Recovery Services; Part time Mental Health Clinician at the Outpatient Mental Health-Brief Treatment Services of the same institution; Clinical Social Worker at BBCS Counseling Services (Freehold, NJ).
